Luis has been working at the intersection of business, design and social sciences during the last 20 years. He is CEO and co-founder of INSITUM, the leading innovation consulting firm in Latin America. INSITUM currently has 7 offices and 120 employees in Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, Peru, Spain and United States.

Luis has been involved in more than one thousand research and innovation projects for new products, services and brands in a wide variety of sectors: finance, consumer goods, telecommunications, internet, healthcare, real estate and B2B. Before starting INSITUM he worked as a strategy consultant for DiamondCluster in Barcelona and for E-Lab (now Sapient) in Chicago.

Luis holds a bachelor's in Industrial Design and a Master's degree in Innovation Planning from the Institute of Design, IIT in Chicago. He has been a professor at several universities; guest speaker in more than 20 venues worldwide; and a member of the committee for various conferences on innovation and research.
