Co-founder & CEO at Pollen
Ian has worked at the intersection of technology, business and creativity for nearly 20 years. He was Program Director for Startupbootcamp IoT & DataTech, responsible for finding, developing and growing startups through an intense program of coaching and fund-raising.
He co-founded Pollen, a project to help makers and inventors to bring their ideas to market by offering support, training, investment and a state-of-the-art makerspace to work in.
He is also co-founder of MadeBCN (Barcelona's first community makerspace) and co-producer of Barcelona's Mini Maker Faire. He teaches design thinking and innovation at a number of European business schools, consults and coaches large corporates to help them think like startups and also works with accelerators such as Seedcamp, Techstars and Rockstart.
